This page sets out both the Terms & Conditions that govern your use of Sollestro and our Privacy Policy. By installing, activating or using Sollestro, or by purchasing a licence, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don't use Sollestro.

In these terms, "Sollestro", "we", "us" means Adrienne Photography Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 07886066), registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under reference ZB104159. "Sollestro" also means the software application. "You" means the person or organisation using it. You can reach us at [email protected].

A. Terms & Conditions

1. Your licence

Sollestro is licensed, not sold. When you buy a subscription, a one‑off licence, or start a free trial, we grant you a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable licence to install and use Sollestro on up to the number of machines stated for your plan (currently two), for as long as your subscription is active or, for a one‑off licence, for the major version you purchased.

You may not:

• copy, resell, sub‑license, rent or redistribute Sollestro or your licence key;
• share your licence key publicly or with people outside your licence;
• reverse‑engineer, decompile or attempt to defeat the licensing, except where the law expressly allows it;
• use Sollestro for anything unlawful.

2. Your Claude (Anthropic) API key & costs

Sollestro uses Anthropic's Claude AI, and you supply your own Anthropic API key. You are responsible for your Anthropic account, for any usage charges Anthropic bills you, and for complying with Anthropic's own terms. We add no markup, and we are not responsible for Anthropic's service, availability, pricing or output.

3. What you need to run it

Some features require DaVinci Resolve Studio (a separate paid product from Blackmagic Design, version 21 or newer), and a working internet connection for AI analysis and licence checks. Sollestro is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Blackmagic Design or Anthropic.

4. Payment, billing & subscriptions

Our checkout and billing are handled by Lemon Squeezy, who act as the merchant of record - meaning Lemon Squeezy is the seller for the transaction, processes your payment, and handles applicable taxes. Your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy's terms, presented at checkout.

Subscriptions renew automatically (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. One‑off licences are a single payment with no recurring charge.

5. Free trial

The free trial gives you full access for the stated period (currently 14 days). When it ends, you'll need a paid licence to keep using Sollestro. Your settings and cache remain on your device.

6. Refunds

Because there's a free trial, you can confirm Sollestro works for you before paying. If Sollestro isn't right for you, you can request a refund within 14 days of purchase, handled through Lemon Squeezy. To request a refund or for help, contact [email protected].

7. Intellectual property & your work

We (and our licensors) own Sollestro and all rights in it. You own your footage, photos and the edits or selections Sollestro produces from them. We claim no rights over your content or your output.

8. AI output & disclaimers

Sollestro uses AI to suggest edits and photo selections. These are suggestions - always review them before delivering work to a client. AI can make mistakes, miss shots, or make choices you wouldn't. We don't guarantee that any output is correct, complete, or fit for a particular purpose.

Sollestro is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error‑free, or that it will work with every project, camera, format or version of third‑party software.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost or corrupted data, or losses arising from third‑party services (such as Anthropic, Lemon Squeezy or DaVinci Resolve). Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Sollestro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (for example, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Termination

Your licence ends if you breach these terms, or when your subscription ends. You may stop using Sollestro and uninstall it at any time.

11. Changes

We may update Sollestro and these terms from time to time. We'll post the current version here with a new "last updated" date; significant changes that affect you will be communicated where reasonable.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non‑exclusive jurisdiction. This does not remove any consumer‑law protection you have in your own country.

B. Privacy Policy

1. The short version

Sollestro runs on your computer and uses your own Claude API key. Your footage and photos are never sent to us - only small frame samples, short transcripts and downscaled photo previews are sent directly from your machine to Anthropic, under your own Anthropic account, for AI analysis. We can't see, collect or store your media. The main personal data we deal with is your order and licence information, most of which is handled by Lemon Squeezy.

2. What we collect, and why

Purchases

When you buy or start a trial, Lemon Squeezy (our merchant of record) collects what's needed to process the order - your name, email, payment details and billing/tax location. We receive limited order information from them, such as your email, your licence details, and your country (for tax). We use this to deliver your licence, provide support, and keep records. See Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy for how they handle your data.

Licence activation

When you activate Sollestro, the app sends your licence key and a device name (so you can tell your machines apart) to Lemon Squeezy's licensing service to validate it. This is stored locally on your device and checked periodically.

Your media & the AI

As above - frame samples, transcripts and photo previews go directly from your machine to Anthropic under your own key. We are not in that path. Anthropic's API does not train on your data by default; their terms govern that processing.

Data on your device

Sollestro stores its settings, your analysis cache, and your licence state locally on your computer. We have no access to these files.

The website

Our website is a simple static site. It does not currently use tracking or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability.

If you email us, we keep that correspondence so we can help you and keep a record.

Support chat

Our website has an AI support chat. To help us improve Sollestro and our support, a copy of your chat conversation may be sent to our support inbox (for example when you close the tab or leave the chat idle for a few minutes). Please don't enter sensitive personal information in the chat; for anything account-specific, email [email protected].

3. Legal bases (UK/EU GDPR)

• Performance of a contract - to give you the licence, the software and support you paid for;
• Legitimate interests - to run and secure our business, prevent licence abuse, and answer your questions;
• Legal obligation - to keep records required by law (e.g. tax).

4. Who we share data with

We use a small number of trusted providers: Lemon Squeezy (payments & licensing), Anthropic (the Claude AI - accessed under your own key), our website host, and our email provider. We don't sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Some of these providers (e.g. Anthropic, Lemon Squeezy) are based in the United States, so your data may be processed outside the UK/EEA, with appropriate safeguards in place as required by law.

6. How long we keep it

We keep order and licence records for as long as needed to provide the product and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise them.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you can ask to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, or object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office - ico.org.uk).

8. Cookies

The website itself sets no cookies. The Lemon Squeezy checkout uses its own cookies as part of processing your order.

9. Children

Sollestro is a professional tool and is not directed at, or intended for, children.
